Companion Cards

When you upgrade you can order a companion card for friends or family. Each companion card costs €6 and this amount will be taken from the balance on your card.
 
A Companion Card allows you, as the main cardholder, the facility to transfer money instantly, anywhere in the world to any family member or friend you have issued a Companion Card to. Whether you are transferring money to friends and family abroad or sending money home you can do this easily online with your Rubycard, the process is fast and secure.
 
Issue a card to your teen, load it with their 'pocket money' or weekly allowance and they can use their own card to purchase goods online, withdraw cash as they need it from any ATM, or use it to purchase goods from any shop that displays the MasterCard logo. You can therefore assist younger family members to learn about managing their money as they can only spend the amount that is loaded by you onto their card. You are in total control and their spending can be monitored by you in real time, 24/7, either online or remotely by SMS.
